What are the Festival Music dates and times?     
Program information is not available at this time for we are busy planning for our forthcoming season.   Please check back with us in late spring for a complete listing of Festival programs and artists.  Also, periodic updates about the Festival plans for programs, artists, and ensemble performances are posted on the Baroque on Beaver Music Festival website and Facebook pages, as well as, the Beaver Island Forum, Chamber of Commerce Website, and Beaver Island News on the Net. 

How much are tickets to Baroque in Beaver Music Festival programs and events?
With the exception of the Benefit Gala Concert, admission to Baroque on Beaver Musical Festival programs and events are FREE. 
Admissions to all performances (except the Gala) are gratis, although a free-will offering is gratefully appreciated and accepted at all scheduled events, for donations assist in keeping Festival activities FREE of charge.

Information about tickets for the 2013 Benefit Gala will be provided on this site in early June, 2013.  

Why admittance to Baroque on Beaver Music Festival programs is FREE? 
The fundraising activities of the Beaver Island Cultural Arts Association (BICAA) are responsible for raising a large portion of the annual operating costs of the Baroque on Beaver Music Festival.  Grants, free-will donations and local business provide the balance of Festival support.  While our vision is unlimited, our funding is not, and whether you are an individual or a business, there are many ways for you to become involved with Baroque on Beaver.  Individual and business sponsorship is vital to our continued success. And support ensures that we can continue to provide the best of arts for Island residents and visitors to enjoy.   To learn on how you may make a difference for Baroque on Beaver kindly refer to the “Contributions” section on the BonB website.

How may I become an individual supporter or volunteer? 
Supports from individuals are critical in helping ensure the musical quality and fun of the festival.  Donations and volunteers are always welcome CRITICAL help address the immediate and future needs of the Festival.  There are numerous ways that you can support the Baroque on Beaver Music Festival.

  1. Make a gift:  By supporting Baroque on Beaver you help sustain a unique music festival.  Baroque on Beaver supports the Island economy, enriches Island life, and provides Island residents and visitors with a unique musical experience.  The Baroque on Beaver webpage provides instructions on how to make mail and/or credit card contributions.    Please know your gift will help make a difference.  Please contact Krys Lyle, Beaver Island Cultural Arts Association Coordinator or Dave Hester, Baroque on Beaver Festival Manager, Box 326, Beaver Island, MI 49782 for additional information.
  2. Pledge your time:  Baroque on Beaver offers a number of programs, activities, and opportunities that individuals may participate in depending on their areas of interest.  For example, volunteers may work at events, host musicians and artists in their homes, participate in special fundraising activities, serve on the Board, or assist in developing print and electronic communications.
  3. Does the Festival offer internships?
Yes, the festival does offer a limited number of unpaid internships.  A Baroque on Beaver Internship provides real world experience in cultural arts presentation and production. Baroque Internships are unpaid and are relatively short term in nature with the primary focus on opportunities related to musical festival needs.  Interns generally have a supervisor who assigns specific tasks and evaluates the interns overall work.  For more information about internships, please contact Krys Lyle, BICAA Manager, Box 326, Beaver Island, MI 49782 or phone:  231-448-2149.

Does Baroque on Beaver provide education grants?
Yes, the Festival offers a number of mini grants.  Information and an applicant form for mini-grants may be found on the Baroque on Beaver website and Facebook pages.

Does Baroque on Beaver provide workshops?
Yes, each year the Festival sponsors a number of workshops, as well as informal pre-Festival and/or pre-concert lectures with various artists.  Specifics about workshops and lectures and related activities are posted on the Baroque on Beaver website and Facebook pages.

How do I get to the Beaver Island?

Does baroque on Beaver have a Program Re-Use Initiative?
Yes, Baroque on Beaver is pleased to begin a program re-use initiative. If you would like your program to be re-used, please choose from the following:

Can I bring my camera or video recorder? 
Photography and video recordings are prohibited during concerts.

Are venues accessible for people with disabilities? 
Yes, all venues are handicap accessible and accessible seats are available. Please contact Krys Lyle, Beaver Island Cultural Arts Association Coordinator at 231-448-2149.

Are restrooms available in all venues?
All venues have restrooms for patrons that are accessible to the disabled. 

Are drinking fountains available?

There are limited drinking fountain facilities on the island.  Patrons are advised to bring bottled water to events.  No other food or beverages are allowed.
